Prepare the Filling
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the drained sliced peaches evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
Make the Topping
- In a mixing bowl, combine the dry yellow cake mix and melted butter. Stir until crumbly.
- If using, fold in the chopped pecans.
- Evenly sprinkle the cake mix topping over the peaches in the baking dish.
Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
