Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Mix the yeast with warm water in a bowl and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. In a larger bowl, combine flour and salt, create a well, and pour in the yeast mixture along with olive oil. Stir until the dough comes together and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Let the Dough Rise
  1. Shape the kneaded dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm spot for 1 to 2 hours until doubled in size.
Preheat Your Oven
  1. Preheat the oven to its highest setting, around 475°F (245°C), and place a pizza stone inside if available.
Shape the Pizza Base
  1. After the dough has risen, turn it out onto a floured surface and shape it into a pizza base.
