Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl: combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and salt. Whisk until evenly blended.
- Cream the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar in another bowl until light and fluffy—about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the egg and molasses, beating until well incorporated.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients gradually, mixing until just combined.
- Scoop the dough, place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center, then fold the dough over to encase the filling, rolling it into a ball.
- Arrange the cookie dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the centers still look soft.
- Cool the cookies slightly on the baking sheet, then transfer them to a wire rack. Decorate with red and green sprinkles.
