Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. Cream the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar in another bowl until light and fluffy—about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add the egg and molasses, beating until well incorporated.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients gradually, mixing until just combined.
  6. Scoop the dough, place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center, then fold the dough over to encase the filling, rolling it into a ball.
  7. Arrange the cookie dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the centers still look soft.
  9. Cool the cookies slightly on the baking sheet, then transfer them to a wire rack. Decorate with red and green sprinkles.
