Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, mix together the granulated sugar, corn syrup, and water.
  2. Place your saucepan over medium heat and stir until the sugar completely dissolves, about 5 minutes.
  3. Once boiling, stop stirring and insert your candy thermometer, aiming for the hard crack stage at 300°F.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in your flavored extract and food coloring.
  5. Pour the mixture onto a greased cookie sheet and let it cool slightly for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Shape the lollipops using a mold or your hands, inserting sticks as desired.
  7. Allow to cool completely before removing.
