instant pot corn on the cob

Ingredients
  

Corn
  • 4 ears fresh corn on the cob husked and cleaned
Water
  • 1 cup water for steaming
Butter
  • 4 tablespoons butter optional, for serving
Salt
  • 1 teaspoon salt optional, for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Corn
  1. Husk the corn and remove all silk. Cut the corn in half if desired.
Add Ingredients to Instant Pot
  1. Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot. Place the trivet inside and arrange the corn on top.
Cook the Corn
  1. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 3 minutes.
Release Pressure
  1. Once cooking is complete, perform a quick release of the pressure by carefully turning the valve to venting.
Serve
  1. Carefully remove the corn from the pot. Serve hot with butter and salt if desired.
