Brownie Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, gradually adding them to the wet mixture and mix until just incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing it out evenly with a spatula.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool the brownies completely in the pan on a wire rack.
Buttercream Preparation
- In a separate bowl, beat together the powdered sugar and Baileys Irish Cream until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the Baileys buttercream over the cooled brownies.
