Ingredients
  

Meat and Beans
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 can kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
Vegetables
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium bell pepper chopped
Liquids and Sauces
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with juices
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
Spices
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Chop the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Drain and rinse the beans.
Cook the Meat
  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the pot. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, kidney beans, black beans, and spices. Mix well.
Simmer the Chili
  1. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve
  1. Serve hot over hot dogs and enjoy!
