Method
Prepare the Rice
- In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the rice and salt, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
Make the Honey BBQ Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until smooth.
Grill the Chicken
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the chicken breasts with the honey BBQ sauce and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serve
- Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve over rice and drizzle with additional honey BBQ sauce. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
