Method
Assemble the Sandwich
- Lay out 4 slices of bread on a clean cutting board.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on each slice of bread.
- Layer 2 ounces of sliced ham on top of 4 of the slices.
- Add a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the ham.
- If desired, add a slice of tomato and a leaf of lettuce.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread to complete the sandwiches.
- Cut each sandwich in half and serve on a plate.
