  • 1 pound ground beef preferably lean
Vegetables
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger freshly grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
Others
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare all vegetables by washing and slicing them as needed.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic to create the stir fry sauce.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced bell pepper, broccoli, carrots, and snap peas to the wok. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Pour the stir fry sauce over the beef and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Season with black pepper to taste and serve hot.
