Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings split at the joints
Marinade
  • 1 cup soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon honey for sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for moisture
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for heat

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
Marinate the Wings
  1. Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Preheat the Grill
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
Grill the Wings
  1. Remove the wings from the marinade and shake off excess. Place them on the grill. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
Serve
  1. Remove the wings from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
