  • 3-4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 1 lb
For the Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted butter divided
  • 4 cloves Fresh garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
For Seasoning

  • Fresh parsley a sprinkle for garnish

Method
 

Directions
  1. Boil the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add in your fettuccine or penne, cooking until al dente according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook for 5-7 minutes until they turn golden brown and are cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter along with the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant and lightly golden.
  4. Make the Sauce: Stir in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. Add the Italian seasoning and freshly grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.
  5. Combine Everything: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet along with the drained pasta. Toss gently to coat the pasta and chicken in that delicious sauce.
  6. Plate and Garnish: Serve the pasta immediately on plates, garnishing with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
