How to Make Cherry Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your favorite cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and granulated sugar. Stir until well mixed.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until fluffy and light. Then, add the eggs one at a time, mixing in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Gently fold in the chopped cherries.
  5. Pour the batter into your prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Check for doneness.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Let cool completely before slicing.
