Preparation
- Soak the navy beans in water overnight, then drain and rinse them.

- Place the soaked beans, diced onion, minced garlic, and optional bacon in the crockpot.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beans and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the beans are tender.
