- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix sugar and melted butter until well combined. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- Sift together cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Notes
- Don’t overbake! Brownies will continue to set as they cool
- For extra fudgy brownies, refrigerate for 2 hours before cutting
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days
