- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 8 corn tortillas
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat cheese
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (as a sour cream alternative)
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and onion, breaking up the meat while cooking until turkey is no longer pink (about 8 minutes).
- Add garlic and taco seasoning. Cook for 2 more minutes, stirring frequently.
- Warm tortillas according to package directions.
- Assemble tacos by filling each tortilla with turkey mixture, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and a dollop of Greek yogurt.

- For extra flavor, add diced avocado or fresh cilantro
