  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat cheese
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (as a sour cream alternative)
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and onion, breaking up the meat while cooking until turkey is no longer pink (about 8 minutes).
  • Add garlic and taco seasoning. Cook for 2 more minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Warm tortillas according to package directions.
  • Assemble tacos by filling each tortilla with turkey mixture, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and a dollop of Greek yogurt.
