- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices cheese (optional)
- Lettuce, tomato, onion for serving
- Condiments: ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
Instructions
- Divide beef into 4 portions, form into ½-inch thick patties. Make slight depression in center. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat grill/pan to medium-high. Cook patties 4-5 minutes per side for medium.
- Add cheese if desired, toast buns, assemble with toppings.
