  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned. Drain excess fat and stir in garlic, cooking for 1 more minute.
  • Mix Filling: In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Assemble Casserole: Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Arrange frozen tater tots on top in a single layer. Sprinkle with additional cheddar cheese if desired.
