Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour in the canned tomatoes with their juice, gently breaking them up with a wooden spoon.
- Stir in salt, pepper, and dried oregano. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
