Description
A creamy Italian pasta dish combining tender chicken, mushrooms, and crispy bacon in a rich white wine sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb fettuccine pasta
- 4 chicken breasts, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 6 bacon strips, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Cook bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In same pan, cook chicken until golden. Remove.
- Sauté mushrooms and garlic until tender.
- Add wine, simmer 2 minutes.
- Stir in cream and parmesan. Simmer until thickened.
- Return chicken and bacon. Toss with pasta.
- Garnish with parsley.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best results
- Can substitute wine with chicken broth
- Al dente pasta works best
