Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and red food coloring.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
