- 1 cup carrots, finely grated
- 1 cup green cabbage, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 20 dumpling wrappers
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Drain and press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture. Crumble it into a large mixing bowl.
- Finely chop the carrots, cabbage, green onions, garlic, and ginger, then add them to the bowl with the tofu.
- Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil; season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.
- Place about one tablespoon of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges with water, fold into a half-moon shape, and seal tightly.
- Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Fry the dumplings until golden brown on one side. Add water to the skillet and cover with a lid to steam until cooked through.
