- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then add Parmesan cheese. Stir until sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to pan, spoon sauce over top, and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Notes
- For extra flavor, deglaze the pan with white wine before adding cream
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melting results
- Serve over pasta or with roasted vegetables
