  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then add Parmesan cheese. Stir until sauce thickens.
  • Return chicken to pan, spoon sauce over top, and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, deglaze the pan with white wine before adding cream
